According to the Resolution, after 35 years of “Doi moi” (Renewal), Vietnam has gained important achievements in urban development, including the expansion of urban spaces and improved socio-economic infrastructure. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Andrew Goledzinowski said that NGOs are a key partner in Australia’s overseas development assistance globally and in Vietnam. Nguyen Ngoc Hung, VUFO Vice President said that Australian NGOs have been supporting and partnering with Vietnam from early stages.
