In the Eurozone, the unemployment rate remained stable at 6.5%, consistent with the preceding two months and marking a decrease from 6.6% in March 2023. Notably, the youth unemployment rate, encompassing individuals under 25 actively seeking employment, saw a decline to 14.1% from 14.4% in February. Conversely, Spain, the fourth largest economy, continued to grapple with the highest unemployment rate in Europe, albeit showing marginal improvement from 11.9% in January to 11.7% in March. S&P Global Ratings anticipates the eurozone's unemployment rate to reach 6.7% by the end of the year.
