UDA officials in Nyanza have applauded President William Ruto's decision to nominate Cabinet Secretaries from the ODM party. The party officials led by Homa Bay county chairperson Kennedy Obuya expressed their gratitude fro what they termed as the President's humility to listen and reshape his administration to reflect Kenya’s current political texture. The nomination of Mbadi as CS for National Treasury and Economic Planning is historic as the ministry has never been held by anyone from Luo Nyanza. The Homa Bay UDA chairman said they have full confidence that Mbadi and Wandayi will support the President in addressing the intricate financial challenges and advancing Kenya's development to new heights. "On behalf of the people of Homa Bay county and the entire Luo counties, we extend our utmost respect and highest regards," the officials said.
