Two police personnel have been temporarily suspended over the death of student Abu Sayed during the quota reform protest in Rangpur, reports bdnews24.com. ASI Amir Hossain and Constable Sujan Chandra Ray have been suspended over the death of the Begum Rokeya University student, says Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Moniruzzaman. The police and the Chhatra League clashed with protesters at the time and Abu Sayed, several other students, and police were injured. Abu Sayed, who was shot, died before he reached the hospital, doctors said. The 25-year-old Abu Sayed was a student of the Department of English at Rokeya University.
