Chu is to run for Taoyuan city councilor, while Lin is to run for Miaoli county councilor, NPP Chairwoman Chen Jiau-hua (陳椒華) told a Taipei news conference. Lin said he had been inspired by the youthful NPP Miaoli County Councilor Sang Kok-ting (宋國鼎), who has fought against corruption in the county.
