The Japan Foundation. Established "in October 1972, the Japan Foundation is a special legal entity supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Instituto "regularly invites personalities, writers and researchers who can provide discussions and seminars on literature, language, arts, film, history and other related topics." Korean Cultural Centers (KCCs) are "nonprofit institutions aligned with the Government of South Korea that aim to promote Korean culture and facilitate cultural exchanges." These include Korean culture classes like Traditional Dance, Samulnori (traditional percussions), Gayageum (traditional string instruments), Taekwondo, and KPop Dance, and Korean language classes for beginners and advanced learners."
