A storm or a tropical depression is expected to form in the East Vietnam Sea between October 23 and 25, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting. The center forecast that an intertropical convergence zone will form in the East Vietnam Sea between October 21 and 22. In the zone, tropical cyclones may take shape. The national weather forecast agency also predicted that tides in coastal regions in the southeastern region will remain high until October 22.
