A PARK in Penang once touted as the best traffic garden in the country has been given a much needed facelift. “This time, we extended part of the roofing, resurfaced the road in the park and replaced the old board as the old one looked shabby. “There will be more maintenance and upgrading work done at the park this year,” he said. “Despite the pandemic, the MBPP managed to complete the upgrading work swiftly,” he said. The garden, which was opened in 1983, has a mock petrol station, fire hydrant, post box, a hospital signpost, a telephone booth and various road signs.
