He said the meeting decided to step up monitoring of such activities and take stern action against those behind them. The meeting also decided to enhance coordination among security forces for continuous monitoring and to keep the administration prepared for any situation. The meeting observed that “defeated fascist forces” are becoming desperate as the election nears and trials over July killings move forward, calling it a matter of “national security”. It was decided that no one would be spared over security issues, with emphasis on unity among all political parties in the national interest.
