Crime & Punishment of Thursday, 16 September 2021Source: GNAThe Volta Regional Police Command has arrested three persons at Akatsi in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta region for their alleged involvement in recruitment fraud. The three, Bernard Amenya, 18, Godsway Adzikah, 23, and Godson Wemegah 21, were arrested on September 14, 2021. The release said the said publication was advertising to assist potential applicants to be enlisted into the Ghana Police Service. It said the Command remained resolute in pursuit of recruitment charlatans in the Region and has arrested a total of five suspects in the past weeks. The release urged persons who had fallen victim to the said scam to report to the Command to assist in investigation and prosecution.
