RCMP release:The Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) has charged three people as part of a drug trafficking investigation. The search was the result of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug trafficking. Officers also seized a quantity of cash, drug paraphernalia and a BB style pellet gun made to resemble an automatic weapon. Jake Murphy, 33, of Pictou, Jessica Lindblad, 28, of Maclellan’s Brook, and Merissa Sutherland, 33, of Scotsburn, have each been charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Fentanyl for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000. Note: The PCISCEU is made up of police officers from Pictou County District RCMP, Westville Police Service, and Stellarton Police Service.
