CAIRO – 3 August 2021: Egypt announced, Tuesday, the opening of the first phase of the Food and Logistics Industrial City under the name “Silo Foods” in Sadat City in Menoufia governorates. Egypt Today highlights the importance of the new city and its production capacity in terms of food supplies. The city is built on 135 eddans with a total of 567,000 square meters; it contains 10 different factories and 470 tons of various products annually, about 40 products. The second phase of the company includes 4 factories for dairy products, cheese, halvah and corrugated cardboard. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi witnessed this morning the inauguration of the Silo Foods Industrial City.
