This new charter was to be an upgrade from the failed predecessor of the United Nations, known as the League of Nations. It would be a grave injustice to think that United Nations has been a complete failure in all aspects. In 2022, the United Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP) assisted 160 million people worldwide. This ominous flaw in the United Nations was pointed out just three years into its formation.
