The University of Glasgow loses six positions from the previous year in The Times and Sunday Times UK University Rankings, and places 22nd as the best University in the UK and third in Scotland. It presents low scores in teaching quality and student experience. It is currently ranked as the fifth worst university in the UK for teaching quality, scoring 80.1%. University of St Andrews confirms its second place, followed by University of Strathclyde’s which gained nine places from last year, positioning itself as 11th best University in the UK. University of Strathclyde is also awarded with the title of Runner-up University of the Year by The Times and Sunday Times, while Glasgow Caledonian University is Runner-up for Modern University of the Year.
