A male tenant was arrested after he violently beat up a security guard in North Point on Friday morning. The security guard bled from his head following the assault, which was reported to police by his colleagues. The 60-year-old guard was then taken to Eastern Hospital in a conscious state. The tenant, with blood stains on his T-shirt, was arrested by police for assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The tenant was also taken to the Eastern Hospital for medical attention after he claimed he had his back injured.
