CAIRO - 5 October 2023: Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talaat, received Andris Razans, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia in Cairo, to discuss ways to advance cooperation between Egypt and Latvia in the fields of communications and information technology. The meeting tackled topics of building digital capabilities, supporting technological innovation and entrepreneurship, financial technology, and electronics design and manufacturing. During the meeting, Dr. Amr Talaat stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Egypt and Latvia and exchanging experiences in the field of communications and information technology. Dr. Amr pointed out that Egypt has a base of young professionals trained professionally in the fields of communications and information technology. Dr. Amr Talaat referred to the Applied Innovation Center established by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, through which solutions are developed using modern technologies to address the challenges facing society.
