A 16-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after tripping on a staircase and injuring his head in Tai Po Thursday night. Around 11 pm yesterday (Jul 20), a teen went to find his friend in Tai Po Tai Tak House to return a borrowed video game console. And while they were traversing the staircase, the 16-year-old boy lost his footing and tripped, losing consciousness after hitting his head on the floor. The paramedics arrived and checked on the unconscious teen, rushing him to the Prince of Wales Hospital. After receiving medical attention in the hospital, he regained consciousness and is currently being monitored in the intensive care unit.
