CAIRO – 25 February 2023: Consulate General of Egypt in Milan noted the suspects behind the killing of Egyptian citizen Mohamed Ebrahim Mansour have been arrested. In a statement on Sunday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said it is following up on the updates of the case of Mansour as the suspects were arrested. The ministry added that search is ongoing for more suspects in the case. Police last Tuesday announced arresting three suspects who belong to one family, blaming the crime on family dynamics. Early in February, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that it is closely following up on the incident, noting that Italian authorities said the death took place on 14 January.
