CYBERJAYA: Proceed with all new projects instead of waiting for the end of the first quarter. Projects announced in Budget 2024 should already begin since the funds for them have been distributed to all ministries, said the Prime Minister. “One of the issues we raised (during the retreat) is to ensure that projects announced during the (2024) Budget should not wait for the normal process of (waiting for the) first quarter. Start now,” he told reporters after the unity government Cabinet Members’ Retreat here yesterday. “We have accomplished a record achievement in the 2023 assessment of projects implemented, and for 2024, we want these (projects) to be implemented fast, which means they (the ministries) can proceed without having to wait for the first quarter (to end).
