Stars notebook: Roope Hintz keeps point streak alive in birthday celebration vs. Panthers

The Stars forward celebrated his 26th birthday with a pair of goals during a 6-4 win over the Panthers on Thursday night. Both Hintz and Jason Robertson (one assist) extended their point streaks to a career-high 10 games. Hintz and Robertson are the first Stars since Patrick Sharp in 2015-16 to have point streaks of at least 10 games. During the streak, Hintz has six goals and nine assists; Robertson, nine goals and 10 assists. — The NHL announced a new game time for one Stars game: their Jan. 3 game in Los Angeles will now start at 9 p.m. CT instead of 9:30 p.m. CT.Find more Stars coverage from The Dallas Morning News here.
