South Roscommon works ensures sustainable water supply for generations2024 has got off to a good start for South Roscommon with the community in part of Drum enjoying a more reliable water supply. The new pipework has not only put a stop to the loss of treated drinking water, but it has given locals a more sustainable and reliable water supply for generations to come. The National Leakage Reduction team has made great strides since 2018 when the leakage rate stood at 46%. We are investing a further €250 million every year up to the end of 2030 - fixing leaks and replacing pipes to provide a more reliable water supply.
