It is freedom for a son who had been charged with disappearing and killing his father. His father, Silvester Mukuva went missing from their home in Makueni county between June 6 and 11, 2020. From the court documents and the summarised evidence, it was not clear why the son was in the list of suspects. The judge said that prosecution relied heavily on circumstantial evidence and it did not link the son and his co-accused to the killing and the scene of crime. The court, however, found that the prosecution had proven a malice aforethought in the killing.
