Dhaka University was shrouded in silence on Thursday morning after the administration halted academic activities and ordered students to vacate their residential halls in the wake of clashes surrounding the quota reform movement. Police have taken up positions at each entry point to the campus, erecting barricades. They are conducting searches on those attempting to enter the campus. No one has been allowed to enter unless there is an emergency, as per bdnews24.com reports. Neither protesters from the quota movement nor the Chhatra League conducted any programmes on the campus this morning.
