Montgomery County Police have released new surveillance footage of the suspects and their vehicle from the armed robbery at Shalla Restaurant & Bar in downtown Silver Spring last month. At approximately 12:20 a.m. on December 21, 2023, officers from the 3rd District responded to a reported commercial armed robbery at the Shalla Ethiopian Restaurant and Bar on Sligo Ave. The armed men demanded personal belongings from the restaurant’s patrons, who complied with their demands. Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to an arrest.
