Christos Masiri, 34, was handed the civil order after Workington Magistrates’ Court heard details of 10 alleged incidents ‘of a sexual nature’ from 2010 to present, which have not resulted in any criminal convictions. Gemma Bull, for Cumbria Police, put forward the application for an interim Sexual Risk Order and outlined the alleged incidents. Ms Bull said Loughborough Constabulary had considered a Sexual Risk Order at this time. Ms Bull said Masiri committed acts of a sexual nature in numerous areas before moving on and there was ‘clearly a risk of sexual harm’. All allegations put to him were disputed.”Presiding magistrate Jeff Forster said it was ‘necessary’ to impose a Sexual Risk Order and an interim order was granted for 20 weeks or until the main application is determined on February 25.
