President William Ruto has appointed veteran Journalist Tom Mshindi to be the board chairperson of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation. In a gazette notice dated January 19, the President said Mshindi will work for three years. Mshindi will begin his role effective January 19, 2024. With nine years of presence at NMG, Mshindi rose through the ranks starting as a journalist, and later as the Managing Editor of the Daily Nation. Mshindi is currently a consulting editor and writer for Tom Mshindi Consulting.
