Former Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) Director General Ezra Chiloba has been nominated for a new ambassadorial role. Also appointed is Ruto's ally from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party Fred Outa, as the Ambassador for Cairo, Egypt. Outa, who is a former Kisumu County Senator, was formally nominated for a Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) position by President Ruto before the court declared the role unconstitutional. Further, Ruto has nominated Caroline Mueke for the position of Secretary-General of the East African Community. This appointment will be determined by the Summit of the Heads of State in East Africa.
