Those taking part will start pitchside at St Mary's Stadium before heading out into Southampton and seeing the sights. The run will be a closed road event, meaning a number of roads will be shut around the city to allow for it to go ahead. Full list of road closures for Run Southampton 10kA number of roads will be closed and reopened on a rolling basis based on the performance of the slowest runner on the course. The route map can be found on the website here if residents want an idea of what areas to avoid. Road closures will begin from around 8am, ahead of the race starting at 9am, and they should all be back open from 11am.
