The head of Childersburg Rescue Squad in Alabama, Captain Jim Dennis, has clarified his previous comments regarding the alleged deaths caused by a viral TikTok challenge involving jumping from a high-speed boat. According to a report by Nationalpost.com, Dennis stated that his comments about four recent drownings were taken out of context. In an interview with al.com, Dennis explained that the rescue squad had responded to four drownings in the past six to eight months. However, he emphasized that not all of those incidents were linked to the boat jumping challenge. He added that while one death was a result of jumping out of a boat, it is unknown whether it was connected to TikTok.
