CAIRO – 20 July 2023: The Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center released earlier this week a report on four Egyptian villages that have significance in certain industries on the global level. The report highlights that the global production of the crop is 14 tons. A third village is Al Nazla, situated in Fayoum, known for pottery. It is the top Egyptian exporter of pottery products to European and Arab countries. The last village is Giza's Haraneya famed for handmade carpet production, as only cotton, wool, and natural dyes are used.
