This morning the Cincinnati Reds announced that they were sending outfielder TJ Friedl on a rehab assignment to Triple-A Louisville. It’s another attempt to come back from injury in 2024 for the Reds outfielder. When recovering from the broken wrist Friedl spent a few days with Louisville before joining the big league club. In 2007 he joined the Reds organization and has remained ever since. During his time with the organization he’s managed the Sarasota Reds, the Gulf Coast League Reds, the Lynchburg Hillcats, the Billings Mustangs, the Bakersfield Blaze, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the Chattanooga Lookouts, and the Louisville Bats.
