The Star Newspaper has termed the attack on its Siaya correspondent an act of violence and intimidation. In a statement, Radio Africa Group Head of Content Paul Ilado termed the incident deplorable and a blatant violation of the fundamental principles of constitutional freedoms. He called on the police in Siaya County to swiftly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
