Rabindra Kachhari Bari in Sirajganj has reopened to visitors, two days after it was closed down following incidents of vandalism and assault. Meanwhile, six more individuals have been arrested by the army and police in connection with the incident, including a local BNP leader. The arrested include Sirajganj district BNP Joint Secretary Abu Shamim, 60, Rimon Hossain, 25, his brother Sajib Hossain, 22, Ashiqur Rahman Arman, 21, Tanvir Hasan Arko, 22, and Jubayer Hossain, 24. Afterwards, a group of agitated people attacked and vandalised the auditorium of the Kachhari Bari. On Jun 11, the Kachhari Bari was declared to be closed until further notice.
