Hot on the heels of their recent visit to Nigeria, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, have been embroiled in a controversy which threatened to tarnish their reputation and the integrity of their beloved Archewell Foundation. “All necessary paperwork had been filed by the foundation without error or wrongdoing,” read a statement on the Sussex's website. The payment, in the form of a cheque was tracked down and found to have arrived in November 2023, but it wasn’t filed. A second cheque has now been posted and the matter is expected to be resolved within the next seven business days. During their visit to Nigeria last week, the duke and duchess said the foundation would be expanding its partnership with the GEANCO Foundation in Abuja.
