Potato wart found in P.E.I. field connected to previous detections

There's only been four positive samples of potato wart found in the Prince County field out of just under 50,000 samples, according to the P.E.I. Potato Board. (Jane Robertson/CBC - image credit)The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has just posted its latest update on the investigation into potato wart on P.E.I., and it includes one detection in a field in Prince County. Potato Board, said only four positive samples have been found in the field out of nearly 50,000 samples taken since 2021. He said all the positive samples were found in fields with CFIA restrictions in place, and in close proximity to each other.
