Possible heavy rain, gales, thunderstorms and tornados, as stormy run continues

MetService is warning of possible heavy rain, thunderstorms, gales and even tornados on Tuesday, for many parts of the country. The front would bring a period of heavy rain and strong northerly winds to many areas. MetService has also issued a heavy rain warning and several heavy rain and wind watches.
