According to the Police, the suit filed was necessitated by the lack of agreement with the organisers of the demonstration on when the protest should start and the time it should end. to“… the Police received a verbal response from the organisers the effect that they are unable to change the time of the demonstration. It added that the court will be hearing its suit against the duration of the demo on Monday, June 27, 2022.
