The 37-year-old Jamaican, the Olympic champion in the event at Beijing 2008 and London 2012, withdrew prior to her semi-final on Saturday night (3 August) at the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Fraser-Pryce was looking to claim a medal in the 100m for a fifth consecutive Games, having won bronze in 2016 and silver in 2021.
