Parents band together to support TDSB staff put on home assignment amid probe of racism allegations

It has not yet been formally presented to the Toronto District School Board. The mom, together with local advocacy group Parents of Black Children, held a news conference Tuesday to outline the allegations. The Parents of Black Children praised the Toronto board for its swift action. According to Bird, it removes staff from a work location to allow time to fully understand what has occurred. Spokesperson Bird said this is not accurate and no further staff have been put on home assignment.
