PETALING JAYA: Police have rescued a woman who they believed had been exploited as a sex worker. Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said a suspected "transporter" was arrested on Saturday (Feb 20) in front of a four-star hotel here. "He confessed to having been working with a man by the name of 'Kenny' and had been paid RM1,600 monthly. His role was that of a transporter, where he would send the girls, who had been made into prostitutes, to customers. The suspect has been remanded for seven days, while the victim has been placed under protection.
