General News of Wednesday, 9 June 2021Source: www.ghanaweb.com•Over 17,000 teachers have failed the promotional exams• Teachers who failed believe their papers were not marked fairly•63% of the teachers, however, passed the examsReports have revealed that over 17,000 out of the 46, 486 teachers who sat for the maiden promotional exams failed. We are going to investigate what happened and we are also asking the teachers to find out what happened. This is the first time teachers’ promotion exams has been based on an aptitude test in the country. However, teachers who failed the test believe that the papers were not marked with integrity and suspect a foul play. Hence, they stormed the offices of the Education ministry to protest and demand to see the marked papers for confirmation of their performances.
