The Norfolk Lights Express - which runs along the North Norfolk Railway between Sheringham and Holt - was included in The Times' roundup of the 16 best festive train experiences. The 2025 Norfolk Lights Express will be particularly special as it coincides with the heritage railway's 50th anniversary celebrations. Tickets must be pre-booked for all of the events, which will run from Friday, November 14 until Saturday, January 3. The railway will also operate 'Santa Special' steam trains on weekends from November 22 to December 21 and from December 22 to 23.
