Nakuru - The proverbial tables have turned on a doctor who moved to court seeking compensation after he resigned from his employment during the COVID-19 pandemic. The court heard that the doctor claimed to have resigned due to salary delays. Source: UGCJuma Musa reportedly resigned after the hospital he was working in allegedly delayed his salary payment. The medic arrived at the colossal amount from 12 months’ salary, pro-rated leave pays for 10 months, one month's salary in lieu of notice and two months’ salary arrears. In her ruling, Justice Hellen Wasilwa at the Nakuru Employment and Labour Relations Court dismissed the claim for wrongful dismissal for lack of merit.
