Speaking at the event, NYA CEO Osman Abdullai Ayariga expressed his gratitude and support to the first batch of beneficiaries. He emphasised that the National Apprenticeship Programme is aligned with the NDC 2024 manifesto, which prioritises inclusive growth, job creation, and practical skills development. Ayariga highlighted the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in fostering industrialisation and reducing unemployment. He also called on master craftspersons, communities, and private sector partners to mentor apprentices and create opportunities for them to thrive.
