Mr Fraser also secured the support of other veteran Tory MSPs in Liz Smith and Finlay Carson, as well as Stephen Kerr and Graham Simpson. A spokesman for Ms Gallacher described the remarks as "disappointing" and reiterated her call to conduct a "friendly and fair leadership campaign".
