The shooter who tore a trail of mayhem through Portland’s closely tied Ethiopian community before turning the gun on himself Tuesday knew at least one of his victims but his motive remains unknown, according to the brother of a man wounded during the spree. Police said a gunman shot and killed 39-year-old Duresa Kuri Tibeso at a semi-truck parking lot on North Portland Road about 6:30 p.m. and wounded another man about 15 minutes later in Northeast Portland. The gunman was found dead about three hours later in a car near Pittock Mansion, police said.
