Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who endured a tumultuous childhood under the care of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard, took to TikTok this Mother's Day to honour the "strong and wonderful" mother figures in her life. While acknowledging the complexities of her relationship with her late mother, Gypsy chose to focus on forgiveness and remembering the good times. "What I choose to feel on Mother's Day regarding my own mother is that I think the best of her," Gypsy shared in her video. She admitted that her mother wasn't perfect but emphasised that her feelings about Dee Dee are hers alone. Dee Dee Blanchard was found murdered in 2015, a crime Gypsy was involved in with her then-boyfriend.
