More messy weather is heading your way, Toronto. Environment Canada issued a special weather statement on Saturday for the City of Toronto, forecasting heavy winds, snow, ice pellets and the possibility of freezing rain on Monday. The statement is forecasting precipitation to begin as snow with the potential to produce significant accumulation. The snow will then transition to ice pellets or freezing rain. In addition, it’s expected to be a windy one with wind gusts expected to hit 70 or 80 km/h which has the potential to produce power outages.
