PUTRAJAYA: Hindu and Christian marriage rites will soon be allowed in further relaxations under the National Recovery Plan (NRP). He added that Christians could hold matrimonial ceremonies in churches also from that day. “These are among the new relaxations under the NRP agreed to by the Special Committee on Covid-19 Pandemic Management. “These phase transitions are made in accordance with the NRP guidelines following a risk assessment conducted by the Health Ministry and the National Security Council,” said Hishammuddin. The number of active Covid-19 cases in the country has also gone down, with the latest figure at 135,945.
