Former First Lady Margaret Kenyatta on Saturday attended the memorial service of the late Mzee Jaramogi Oginga Odinga. Mzee Jaramogi passed on January 20, 1994 in Kisumu. The leaders were seated in the front row as they followed the memorial service. Azimio leader Raila Odinga who is Jaramogi's son scheduled the memorial service to celebrate and honour his legacy and place in Kenya’s history. He was appointed minister for home affairs in 1963, and in 1964 became vice president under founding father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.
